Montrose, PA 18801 In 1989, God placed a missionary calling upon each of the ministry team. Each couple was called to serve at Christ's Home for Children, Warminster, PA. It was during this seven - year term of missionary service, that God began to prepare the Ford and Overmiller families for the commission to establish Elisha's Home and Ministries in 1996, in the Endless Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The purpose of the church fellowship and related ministries is based upon Isaiah 58:6,7: ¦to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? When thou see the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh."
